Annual show of high quality Antique Dealers from several states combined with an Art show showcasing local artists. Antiques range from furniture, glassware, and silver to postcards and posters, toys, and vintage hardware items for restoration projects. Art includes various media: oils, pastels, photography, wood and metal sculpture among others.

Outdoor Movie night is the first Friday of the month at Weller Park. Movies start at Dusk or around 8:30pm. Join us for great family entertainment! The “My Dog’s Got Talent Show” has a new name, a new date and a new location for 2011.This year, the Dog Talent Show will be held in conjunction with the K-9 Kerplunk. Join us for the fun! Entertainment, games, show, prizes and vendor booths will be featured. Families and their canine companions can finish the summer with a dip in the pool.

Car Show rolls into Montgomery Saturday, Sept. 10, 5-8pm, Montgomery Square Plaza (Kroger Shopping Area Parking Lot) Great family fun; cars from the 20’s to the 80’s, live musical entertainment, soft drinks, beer, and food. Free for spectators, $10 car entries. Proceeds benefit the Holiday Family Fund and future improvements in City parks.

The concert series Live at the Uni, held in the historic Universalist Church in the heart of Old Montgomery, begins Tuesday, September 20 with a performance by Les Deux, a piano-vocal duo featuring songstress and Montgomery resident Jane French and pianist Karla Mitchell. Jane French is an Emmy-nominated composer and singer, best known for her theme song to NBC’s show, Passions. Karla Mitchell has performed for audiences across the country for more than 25 years. They will perform classic jazz standards.

The concert series, Live at the Uni held in the historic Universalist Church in the heart of Old Montgomery, features the duo of violist Steve Rosen and guitarist Richard Goering on Tuesday, October 4. The duo will perform a high-energy concert of Klezmer music and other classics. Rosen, a resident of Montgomery, is a long-time member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Goering has performed as a guitarist professionally throughout the country, and is well-known around Cincinnati.

On Tuesday, October 18, the Live at the Uni performance series will bring back jazz pianist Kim Pensyl, teaming up with vibraphonist Rusty Burge. Both men are members of the Jazz Studies Department at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, and both are residents of Montgomery.
