Date: Jun 2, 2013 - 1:30 PM
Location: The Community of the Good Shepherd

The Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church is sponsoring a Health Walk for Honduras on Sunday, June 2 to benefit Good Shepherd’s Honduras project.

Enjoy the beauty of the spring foliage and the walking paths of the Good Shepherd grounds along a one mile (2,100 step) marked out course. The Race starts at 1:30 p.m. Registration fee of $5 may be paid in the parish office anytime between now and June 2, 2013. All walkers will gather outside the church near the Weller entrance/Community Room. All donations, benefiting the Honduras Project, are to be turned in on June 2 at the Registration Table near the Weller entrance by 3:30 p.m.

Funds raised will benefit Good Shepherd’s Honduras Project. The parishioners of Good Shepherd Catholic Church set a goal to raise $450,000 to build a bilingual school and parish house/faith formation center in Santa Lucia, Honduras. The project is now reaching its final phase. While the majority of the work has been completed, $85,000 is still needed to finish the good work being done in Honduras.

The Community of the Good Shepherd is located at 8815 East Kemper Road in Montgomery.  For more information about the Honduras Project and a map of the walking path, please visit the parish website at .  For more specific questions, please contact Jack Peltz in the parish office at 513-489-8815 ext. 709 or e-mail .
