Montgomery Woman's Club

Montgomery Woman's Club

The Montgomery Woman’s club was founded in 1952 by women dedicated to serving their community. Today, we continue to foster the goals established over fifty years ago: to encourage and promote both cultural and educational endeavors. Montgomery Woman’s Club is also a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. This organization champions women’s issues throughout the world.

While our roots are in Montgomery, our membership is not limited to Montgomery residents. We are open to all women. Our membership currently includes over 100 women from many areas of the region. Our members span the gambit from mothers with young children to great grandmothers. They interact together in social activities, civic projects and fundraising events.

We contribute to our community by providing: student scholarships, women opportunity grants and contribution to a variety of charitable efforts. For many women, we have become an extended family.

We welcome you to visit our website: www.montgomerywomansclub.org and join us at one of our meetings.

Meeting information

Our general meetings are held at the Terwilligers Lodge in Dulle Park on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. Our meetings are open to all women. Meetings alternate between evening and morning meetings. Our holiday luncheon is often held at a different venue. In addition to a short business meeting, we offer light refreshments and programs which entertain, educate and inform. Check our website for the current schedule.
