The “My Dog’s Got Talent Show” has a new name, a new date and a new location for 2011.This year, the Dog Talent Show will be held in conjunction with the K-9 Kerplunk. Join us for the fun! Entertainment, games, show, prizes and vendor booths will be featured. Families and their canine companions can finish the summer with a dip in the pool.

Browse the vendor booths starting at 5 p.m. Join us for the kick off to the event with a parade of dogs beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dogs will parade past the big stage past the judges where there will be a Best Dog Pool Attire/Swim Suit Contest. Other fun activities on stage include: Best Looking Male Dog and Best Looking Female Dog contests, Ugliest Looking Dog (My Owner Thinks I’m Cute) contest, Longest Stay contest and an Urban Mushing demonstration. All dogs who participate will receive an official Dogfest ribbon and there are prizes for the contest winners. Finalists of the Montgomery’s Top Dog online contest will perform on stage. This online contest runs through August 7 Bring dog and cat food to donate to Meals On Wheels for pets. Adopt a new best friend from Rescue groups on site. Have fun with a game of musical paws! Have a picture drawn of your dog from a caricature artist ($2).

All breeds and sizes of dogs are invited. Dogs must be people friendly and non-aggressive towards other dogs. Free for pets of members, $3 for non-members. More information will be coming soon at www.montgomeryohio.org or call 891-2424. Sponsored by Pet People and Puppywood Pet Resort.
