Connect Montgomery, the civic collaborative composed of community organizations, wants to make a difference in our community. With the organizing assistance of Blue Ash/Montgomery Rotary Club, Connect Montgomery is leading a partnership of volunteer organizations to make a unified impact on national Make a Difference Day, October 22. Montgomery based organizations are urged to join this collective effort by identifying a project that motivates your group, then go out and make a difference through a day of volunteering. Additionally, Connect Montgomery asks organizations to invite community members to join the effort to learn more about these participating organizations and their mission. Projects can be anywhere, as long as, groups are passionate about the cause.
Connect Montgomery’s Making A Difference challenge has the following objectives:
• To provide support to worthy “greater good” efforts
• To highlight the importance of volunteerism
• To set an example for the youth of the community
• To identify and spotlight organizations as a valuable community asset and option for involvement
