MWC logoThe Montgomery Woman’s Club (MWC) has given over $1 million over the past 63 years toward schools, equipment and scholarships while also supporting the Sycamore Student Cultural Series.  MWC offers several annual scholarships, which are supported by the MWC Town Hall Lecture Series. Senior Scholarships, Undergraduate Scholarships and Women’s Opportunity Grants are available to students who reside in the Sycamore school district.

High school seniors and college undergraduates may apply for various scholarships directly through MWC. Students must reside in the Sycamore school district but may attend any high school in the Greater Cincinnati area. Women’s Opportunity Grant applicants must be age 28 or above and reside in the Greater Cincinnati area. Applications for the Senior and Undergraduate Scholarships are due in early February and are awarded April 21st at the MWC Scholarship meeting. Winners and family members are invited to attend a reception hosted by MWC the evening of April 21st.  Applications for the Women’s Opportunity Grants are due the first of June, 2016.

Scholarships are need based.  Applicants are considered for a variety of scholarships reflective of their application, academics or artistic talent.   The scholarships are funded by friends and families of the MWC such as the Linda Clark Memorial Scholarship (past president), Mary Ellen Coryell Scholarship (past member) and Radia S. Pfingstag Memorial Scholarship (artist).

Individuals interested in applying for scholarships are encouraged to visit their high school guidance office for applications or visit our website at for applications and details.
