zDSC_2351w2335gBe sure to join us on Saturday, October 24 for Montgomery Making a Difference Day! The Montgomery Citizen’s Leadership Academy Class of 2014 is coordinating the event this year. We invite you to take this opportunity to give back! Share your skills and time with others in need and make a difference in your community! Create or choose a project that is important to you. The possibilities are endless:

  • Sorting items at Matthew 25: Ministries with the Blue Ash Montgomery Rotary Club
  • Joining the Montgomery Woman’s Club at the Montgomery Farmers Market to sell ‘Expect Respect’ bracelets to promote awareness of teen dating violence and distribute educational materials to recognize abuse.
  • Volunteering to raise awareness for social programs
  • Helping prepare weekend meal packets at FreeStore Foodbank
  • Doing light yard work for a senior or someone in need

After volunteering on October 24, come and celebrate at Swaim Lodge between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Check in with the MCLA Class of 2014 to report on your project and enjoy refreshments and a cookout sponsored by Horan Associates and Twin Lakes.

We are less than 2 months away so start planning now! You can contact Julie Tople, MCLA 2014, at  or email her at  with specific project information.
