GrdBreaking_HondurasGood Shepherd Catholic Church presents The Sounds of Good Shepherd A Honduras Project Benefit Concert for the Whole Family on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Featuring talents from Good Shepherd. The concert is free. A free-will offering will be received to benefit the Honduras Project. The concert will conclude with fall-themed refreshments for everyone. This event takes place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church located at 8815 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249 (located in Montgomery, OH). To learn more visit the website at good-shepherd.org.

The evening will be an eclectic mix of music, both sacred and secular, and will feature the talents of Good Shepherd’s very own:

Vocalists: Maureen Whitfield, Tim DeLorenze, Larry Reiring, Chris Canarie, Marty Jansen Cunningham (first Good Shepherd Music Director), Rick Hagee (present Music Director)

Good Shepherd: Choir, Handbell Choir, Golden Tones (formerly Senior Shepherds Band), Violinist Vincent Phelan and his talented students from the Corryville Suzuki Project

A Chair-ity Raffle will also be held in conjunction with this fundraiser. The chairs to be raffled off are on display in the parish library and on our parish website.

Funds raised will benefit Good Shepherd’s Honduras Project. The parishioners of Good Shepherd Catholic Church set a goal to raise $450,000 to build a bilingual school and parish house/faith formation center in Santa Lucia, Honduras. The project is in its final phase. While the majority of the work has been completed, $33,000 is still needed to finish the good work being done in Honduras.
