Connect Montgomery’s Making A Difference Day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28. Plan now for a service project this day.
Once again, Connect Montgomery is leading a partnership of volunteer organizations to make a unified impact on the national “Make a Difference Day.” Please start planning now to enrich the community by giving back. Some ways to make a difference include:
- Sorting clothes and other items at Matthew 25 Ministries;
- Collecting needed non-perishable food and personal care items for NEEDS Pantry at Montgomery Kroger;
- Volunteering to raise awareness for social programs; and
- Creating a new project to have fun and give back.
Churches, neighborhood associations, families or civic groups should start planning now to be a part of this special day.
Sycamore Junior High School volunteers will be raking leaves on Friday, Oct. 2, as a part of Making A Difference Day activities. Families can contact Mr. Jim Dejoy at email@example.com, Michelle Reece at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the school at 513-686-1760 to request placement on the raking list.
To list a project on connectmontgomery.org, call Faith Lynch at 513-792-8358 or email at email@example.com.
